Just a select few today as we escaped from the hubbub of Pitlochry by climbing up into the forested hills on the opposite side of the River Tummel. We had superb views over both the town and the hills beyond.
The walk proved far more undulating than I remembered, or to put it another way, it was quite a steep ascent up to the highest point. (393m)
Lunch at the top before skirting around the hills and then following the tracks back down into Pitlochry.
Unfortunately, Crossing the A9 both times proved to be Character building. The weather turned out to be much better than the forecast.
