This walk never happened as planned! Due to the heavy rain, we made a tactical retreat to the Atrium Cafe in Callander. 

After Bacon rolls, cakes and coffee, the rain had gone off sufficiently to  to brave the elements and a new route was decided upon for a short and very enjoyable walk along the River Teith just outside Callander.

The views over Loch Venichar will be there for another day.
